PROBLEM STATEMENT
Post 950 scheduled reports into client's drive. Copy them from local drive and paste them to their respective named folders . This involves manual copying and pasting files from local drive which is time consuming and prone to post files in inappropriate folders.
OBJECTIVE
Primary Objective:
Reducing the manual process and increase the quality

To propose an alternate method that avoids inappropriate files being copied to incorrect folders.

PROJECT SCOPE- IN SCOPE
In Scope:
Quality Management, Customer Service Satisfaction, Use of Automated tool, Can post even weekly, Bi weekly and quarterly reports. Time Management, Associates who run scheduled reports
Out Scope:
Can only be used to post only scheduled reports
Work Break down Structure
The Tool has been created on Microsoft Excel VBA. It needs to list all the files in source location in to the macro template. The tool needs to run in background by copying and posting the files from source to destination path mentioned in the production list. The QC mechanism is also incorporated successfully. If this is implemented successfully then the manual process of copying and pasting can be eliminated without any issues on quality
The Tool has been created and it performs good. The user needs to open the template and select the source file path. Enter the month name in the desired cell and click "Start". When the button is clicked the tool runs, first lists the source path into macro enabled template and posts the files to the destination path mentioned in production list. It posts all the scheduled 950 reports in their respective path folders. The QC status can be checked whether the tool has run the report correctly. If the reports are posted correctly then it marks as "Posted in the destination path" else the tool marks "Posting Failed"
